At Haycox Elementary School we are a community of students, families, and highly qualified educators.   It is our goal to provide an education that meets the academic, cultural, social, and emotional needs of students and prepares them to lead effective, responsible, and meaningful lives.  At Haycox we believe that every child has the right to a rigorous and meaningful education, high academic standards, excellent instruction and a clean and safe learning environment.  The teachers and staff go above and beyond to help students and parents. Teachers make strong use of our three computer labs and technology to enhance standards-based instruction. English Learners are currently being provided with the English language skills needed for academic success.  

Haycox School is also very excited about its growing preschool population.  We are actively working to enhance our translation services and to provide access to essential social services for our growing Mixteco community. There are several excellent outreach programs available for adults to improve language and educational skills as well.

Haycox has strong intervention programs throughout the day as well as after school programs, such as ASES, that are aimed at providing effective interventions and enrichment for students who are in need of assistance, as well as supporting students who have succeeded in mastering curriculum.

Our entire staff is delighted to be a vital component in the partnership for your child’s education.  At Haycox we will strive to provide the opportunity for our students to receive the best education possible and to have the tools to build a foundation that will allow them not only to succeed but to excel in the future while maintaining a lifelong love of learning.
