Principal’s Message – Dr. Torres

In April, we will administer the California State Tests. All students in California will be taking this test.

Students in Grades 3rd-5thwill be tested in English Language Arts, and Mathematics.

Students in Grade 5  will also take a Physical Education and Science Test

You can help your child be successful in his/her exams by making sure they come to school every day, and arrive on time.  It’s very important that students have plenty of rest and a good breakfast before taking these exams. Our students are fully prepared. All the skills that are necessary for these exams are part of our curriculum. If your child appears nervous on the day of his or her exam, just remind them to do their very best. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s classroom teacher. This is the first time we will be taking the state test on the computer.
