SAFETY REMINDER: We are fortunate to have the volunteer services of Mr. Robert Ybarra at the front of the school to help with traffic. Also in the back of the school, there will be a supervisor by the door area. Remember that the curb is for drop off only; NO PARKING. If you need to park, you need to do so on the street or in a visitor’s parking space. I thank you for your attention to this matter, in the name of the Larsen students.
NEWS FROM THE PTA- Tom MacNish, President
Your Larsen PTA is off to an extremely fast start. The annual Membership Drive is in full swing. A $7 family membership helps PTA help your children. October will be a very busy month. In addition to sponsoring school assemblies, our major fundraiser begins in October. Your child will bring home a Signature Fundraising folder full of wonderful items available for sale to benefit your PTA.
We’re planning many exciting events, but we need your help. Please join us. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 3:00pm in the teacher’s lounge. Our next meeting is October 7th. We’d love to see you there.
ASES is off to a fun start. We celebrated the season with our Fall Festival, where our 110 kids enjoyed face painting, three-legged races, musical chairs, cake walks, potato sack races, had the chance to win goldfish, and we even popped fresh popcorn. The kids are currently earning behavior bucks to shop at our ASES student store. Thank you for picking your kids up between 5:30 – 6:00 and meeting our goal of 15 hours a week!
Help for 4th-5th Graders:
