Welcome to Parkview Elementary School, home of the Mighty Mustangs! Parkview School serves approximately 725 students in kindergarten through sixth grade, with a staff of approximately 45 professional educators and certificated staff. Our school motto, “To Strive for Excellence,” is a goal both students and staff pursue every day. Established in 1958, Parkview has a long history of excellence, spanning over fifty years of serving our Port Hueneme community.

We hope you both enjoy and find useful the links we’ve included in our newly-designed website.  The Hueneme School District has long since been an innovator in technology . Also, you will find important dates and other useful resources just a mouse click away!

Check often for new information and content! We are delighted to be your partner in your child’s education, and look forward to helping your son or daughter along the path of life-long learning.

Go Mustangs!

  • We encourage all our students to strive for perfect attendance. To receive the honor of Perfect Attendance at the end of the year, students must:

    1. Attend every school day for the full 180 days, and 2. Must be present and on time, and must remain in school for the full day.

We encourage you to make doctors appointments after the school day or on early dismissal Wednesdays so that your child may benefit from the wonderful instruction by our teachers. If your child is truly ill, we encourage you to see your family doctor and keep your child at home.

    Thank you for your cooperation!
