Williams School Student Orientation Days
You are cordially invited to our Student Orientation Days which have been scheduled for August 24th-26th . Orientation will be a time for students to come to Williams School to pick up your "at-home learning kits" which will contain your textbooks, school supplies and technology devices. TK-2nd grade students will be using iPads this year and will learn through the Seesaw online platform. 3rd-5th grade students will be using Chromebooks this year and will learni through the Google Classroom platform. Please refer to the following schedule to find out when you will be coming in:
- Hueneme @ Home Digital Academy: (in the cafeteria)
- Monday, August 24th - 8:30-11:30 am
- Tuesday, August 25th - 8:30-11:30 am
- Wednesday, August 26th - 8:30-11:30 am
- Hybrid Learning Program: (classroom/computer lab)
- Monday, August 24th - 12:30-3:30 pm
- Tuesday, August 25th - 12:30-3:30 pm
- Wednesday, August 26th - 12:30-3:30 pm
Families will be required to go through our Active Health Screening process which will be set up at the front entrance of the school. SPECIAL NOTE: We are limiting visitors who will be attending orientation, to one adult per student ONLY. Any adult and student in 3rd grade or higher will be required to wear a mask before entering school as well. Hybrid student technology will be checked out of the computer lab before going to the classroom to meet your teacher.

Días de Orientación para Estudiantes de la Escuela Williams
Están cordialmente invitados a nuestro evento de Orientación Estudiantil que ha sido programado del 24 al 26 de agosto. La orientación será un momento para que los estudiantes vengan a la escuela Williams para recoger sus "Cajas de Aprendizaje en Casa" que contendrán sus libros de texto, útiles escolares y aparatostecnológicos. Los estudiantes de TK-2º grado usarán tablets (iPads) este año y aprenderán a través de la plataforma en línea Seesaw. Los estudiantes de 3º a 5º grado usarán computadoras Chromebook este año y aprenderán a través de la plataforma Google Classroom. Consulte el siguiente calendario para saber cuándo le toca venir:

Esta vez se le requiere a nuestras familias pasar por nuestra Evaluación de Salud que estará en la entrada principal de la escuela. NOTA ESPECIAL: Estamos limitando los visitantes a la orientación, a un adulto por estudiante SOLAMENTE. También se requiere que cualquier adulto y estudiante de 3er grado o superior use una máscarilla antes de entrar a la escuela. La tecnología híbrida de los estudiantes se recogerá de la sala de computación antes de dirigirse al salón de clases para conocer a su maestro/a.
